Introduction

The MITWPU School of Polymers is one of India’s premier institutes for polymer engineering. Excellent infrastructure and dedicated faculty along with an emphasis on research make this the ideal institute to learn about polymer engineering. Polymers are a growing industry and the demand for qualified polymer engineers is growing too. The market for polymers is in excess of USD 1 Trillion. With ground-breaking research occurring within the field, Polymer Engineering is entering newer areas such as electronics, biodegradable plastics, medical equipment and utility. Our four-year full-time program is divided into twelve trimesters with a choice based credit system as well as multiple unique electives.

Introduction

The Post Graduate program in Polymer Engineering established in 2003, offers an optimum blend of core courses and domain specific electives, laboratory courses, mini projects, seminars and industrial projects. The School believes in strong academic foundation along with experiential learning through extra and co-curricular activities. Under MIT-World Peace University, since academic year 2017-2018, the School of Polymer Engineering offers the 2-years full-time M.Tech program as per the Trimester Pattern.

MIT Polymer.....well its quite difficult to express your feelings for something that close to your heart, it's like a home-ground, you know, you will never lose at. Efforts taken by faculty at Poly.
